• Introduction to the Blender interface: layout, panels, and editors.

• Navigation basics: viewport navigation, object selection, and manipulation.

• Understanding the 3D workspace: objects, scenes, and layers.

• Installing addons.

• Importing 3d objects.

• Basic shortcuts.

Modeling Fundamentals

• Introduction to 3D modeling concepts: vertices, edges, faces, and objects.

• Basic modeling tools: extruding, scaling, and rotating.

• Modifier basics: introduction to modifiers and their applications.

• Introduction to editing modes: object mode, edit mode.

• File Management.

Session : Sunday 14/4/2024 12:00-16:00

Materials and Texturing

• Introduction to materials and textures in Blender using shader editor.

• Material properties: diffuse, specular, roughness, and transparency.

• Introduction to UV mapping.

• Preparation of the object for correct UV mapping.

Introduction to Lighting

• Basics of lighting a scene.

• Different types of lights and their uses, using studio techniques.

• Environment textures, HRDis.

• Camera usage and cinematography techniques.

• Exporting the project.

Session 2: 21/4/2024 12;00-14:00

Let’s look at your homework.

• Students will come with their own work using every technique they have learned.

By the end of this class, students will have the basic knowledge of blender and will be able to create their own 3D images.
